Hair Styles

You've seen what the normal style looked like... these were some alternative styles. While definitely not commonly seen, they obviously did exist. Here are some examples.


A late-war image, this appears to be a teen or young woman with short hair. Young girls did indeed wear their hair this way, although this young lady looks to be a bit old for that fashion.	Here's a novelty. This is obviously a young lady dressed in a fashionable gathered-front dress, yet her short hair is parted up the side - a style definitely indicative of a man or boy! This was an atypical style, although not unheard of.
