To get there, just follow these directions:

The interchange of I-94 and IL 137 north of Libertyville, IL.

From the North:

• Take I-94 (toll way) south towards Chicago

• Exit I-94 at Buckley Road (IL 137)

• Turn right (west) onto Buckley Road (IL 137)

• In about 2 miles, turn left (south) onto Milwaukee Avenue (IL 21)

• In about 1.5 miles, turn right (west) onto Park Avenue (IL 176)

• Take IL 176 about 8 miles toward Wauconda

• The Lake County Discovery Museum will be on the left (south) side of the road before you get into town

From the South:

• Take I-94 (toll way) north towards Wisconsin

• Exit I-94 at Park Avenue (IL 176)

• Turn right (west) onto Park Avenue (IL 176)

• Take IL 176 about 10 miles toward Wauconda

• The Lake County Discovery Museum will be on the left (south) side of the road before you get into town

Trip from Marengo, IL to Wauconda, IL.  The Lake County Discovery Museum is where theis.

From the West:

• Take U.S. 20 east toward Marengo, IL

• Take IL 23 north about 0.5 miles to IL 176

• Take IL 176 east through Crystal Lake, Burtons Bridge, Holiday Hills, Island Lake, Mylith Park, and Wauconda  The trip from Marengo to the Lake County Discovery Museum should be about 24 miles long

• The Lake County Discovery Museum will be on the right (south) side of the road after you pass through town
