No Image Available John Albert, of Elkhart, IL, enlisted as a Private in Company H on January 25, 1864. He was transferred to 34th Company, 2nd Battalion, Veterans Reserve Corps, on February 4, 1865. He is buried at Carlyle Cemetery in Lake Fork, Illinois.
 

 

Pvt. Jacob N. Bickel, Company H
No Image Available Jacob N. Bickel (spelled Bickle on the official roster), of Paris, IL, enlisted as a Private in Company H on January 5, 1864. He was mustered out with his company on July 11, 1865. He died on June 26, 1911. He is buried at Forest Home Cemetery in Forest Park, Illinois.
 

 

Pvt. Jefferson K. Bonsler, Company H
No Image Available Jefferson K. Bonsler (spelled Bonser on the official roster) (b. 1835?), of Paris, IL, enlisted as a Private in Company H on January 5, 1864. He was mustered out with his company on July 11, 1865. He died in March 1877 at the age of 42. He is buried in section 7 at Greenwood Cemetery in York, Nebraska.
 

 

Pvt. William G. Buckler, Company H
William G. Buckler, of Paris, IL, enlisted as a Private in Company H on December 20, 1863. He died at Marietta, Georgia on October 10, 1864. He is buried in section G, grave 8290 at Marietta National Cemetery in Marietta, Georgia.

Sgt. William W. Burbeck, Company H
No Image Available William W. Burbeck, of Paris, IL, was a Veteran who enlisted as a Private in Company H on February 3, 1864. He might have been promoted to Sergeant in the same company. He died while in the service on November 4 [grave stone says the 24th], 1864. He is buried in section F, grave 3688 at Nashville National Cemetery in Nashville, Tennessee.
 

 

Pvt. William C. Carlisle, Company H
No Image Available William C. Carlisle, of Paris, IL, enlisted as a Private in Company H on February 3, 1864. He died while in the service at Rome, Georgia on July 3, 1864. He is buried in section C, grave 1502 at Marietta National Cemetery in Marietta, Georgia.

John A. Crosby, of Paris, IL, enlisted as a Private in Company H on February 3, 1864. He died while in the service near Atlanta, Georgia on August 4, 1864. He is buried in section J, grave 9997 at Marietta National Cemetery in Marietta, Georgia.

He was mustered out with his company on July 11, 1865. He died on June 6, 1931. He is buried at Cherry Point Cemetery in Chrisman, Illinois.

No Image Available Henry C. Hardesty, of Elkhart, IL, enlisted as a Private in Company H on February 7, 1864. He was mustered out with his company on July 11, 1865. He is buried at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Springfield, Illinois.
 

 

Pvt. George B. Herrington, Company H
No Image Available George B. Herrington (b. August 13, 1847 near Terra Haute, Indiana), of Paris, IL, enlisted as a Private in Company H on February 16, 1864. He was mustered out with his company on July 11, 1865. He died on July 9, 1904 of paresis at the age of 57. He is buried in section 16, grave 6 at Bassett Memorial Cemetery in Bassett, Nebraska.
 

 

Pvt. David Howard, Company H
No Image Available David Howard (b. c1847), of Elkhart, IL, enlisted as a Private in Company H on January 25, 1864. He was mustered out with his company on July 11, 1865. He died in 1923 about the age of 76. He is buried at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana, Illinois.

No Image Available James D. Hubbard, of Ottawa, IL, was a Veteran (he might have served in Company B, 2nd Illinois Volunteer Cavalry) who enlisted as a Private in Company H on January 15, 1864. He died on July 26 [grave stone says the 20th], 1864 of wounds received at Kenesaw Mountain, Georgia. He is buried in section C, grave 2095 at Marietta National Cemetery in Marietta, Georgia.
 

 

Cpl. Arthur N. Link, Company H
No Image Available Arthur Nethaniah Link (b. October 25, 1845), of Paris, IL, enlisted as a Private in Company H on January 5, 1864. At some point he was promoted Corporal. He was mustered out with his company on July 11, 1865. He is buried at Edgar Cemetery in Paris, Illinois.
 

 

Pvt. James H. McCoy, Company H
No Image Available James H. McCoy (b. 1841), of Paris, IL, enlisted as a Private in Company H on January 5, 1864. At some point he was wounded. He was mustered out with his company on July 11, 1865. He died in 1903. He is buried at Franklin Cemetery in Chrisman, Illinois.
 

 

Cpl. Silas Mishler, Company H

Silas Mishler, of Paris, IL, enlisted as a Private in Company H on February 3, 1864. At some point he was promoted to Corporal. He was absent, sick when he was mustered out with his company on July 11, 1865. Unbeknownst to the regiment, his death at Chestnut Hill Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania was reported in the Philadelphia Inquirer on May 30, 1865. He is buried in the buried in section 200, row I, grave 213 at Mount Moriah Cemetery (Soldiers Lot) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

No Image Available Cyrus M. Wilson (b. in Kentucky), of Paris, IL, enlisted as a Private in Company H on February 3, 1864. At some point he was promoted to Corporal of the same company. He was mustered out with his company on July 11, 1865. He died on August 25, 1912. He is buried in section 21, row I, grave 15 at Los Angeles National Cemetery in Los Angeles, California.
